I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide information, knowledge, and skills required to perform safe and quality auto repairs.

I-CAR welding test training & certification is a unique program created by the industry and for the industry. The hands-on program provides technicians with the skills they need to stay abreast with the newest developments in the industry. Course training includes welding theory, setting up welding equipment, welding safety, and welding techniques with multiple welds and metal thicknesses.

I-CAR welding certification is given to students who can perform a variety of welds in vertical and overhead positions. The welds must pass inspection and destructive testing. I-CAR certification must be renewed every 5 years.
